New solution for sustainable packaging
The Packaging Solutions Group of Veritiv has introduced the Earth Pact Sugar Pikestaff Paperboard, a material made from 100% pure sugar cane bagasse, an agricultural byproduct of sugar manufacturing. "World Pact is just one case of Veritiv's commitment to providing sustainable packaging solutions for the future," said Darin Tang,senior vice president of packaging solutions for Veritiv. "From new coating technologies to renewable resources,Veritiv is at the cutting-edge of today's technology for sustainable packaging."
The Earth Pact Sugar Cane Paperboard, adult in partnership with Carvajal Pulp and Newspaper, is suitable for a variety of packaging applications in the food, cosmetics and similar industries. The paperboard offers a range of features including wet and grease resistant grades and a chop-chop renewable resources, grown round the year and harvested every 12 to 14 months.
Packaging South Asia is the cooperating media partner for drupa 2022 which is scheduled to exist held from 31 May to x June at Dusseldorf, Germany.
